Miller Peak (Palm Springs, CA)

Miller Peak is rather just a rocky bump on the east shoulder of San Jacinto Peak – the famed second highest peak in southern California. Miller Peak itself has very little prominence and is a mere 5-minute detour from the main San Jacinto trail. However, the summit is a rocky pinnacle and offers a few hands-on scrambling moves and thank to the pointy nature it has a bit more open views looking south. The ascent and approach is all written in the trip report of San Jacinto Peak and here I’m only showing the view from Miller Peak’s summit.
