Antimony Mountain

Lytton / Kwoiek Creek, BC

Antimony Mtn. is a decently tall summit immediately to the north of Kwoiek Creek in a remote region of SW BC but because it’s right next to Skihist Mountain, the tallest in SW BC, this peak is largely overshadowed. In fact, nobody would come here to just do Antimony Mountain and those who bothered to bag this summit mostly likely did it as a bonus objective, or consolation prize beside Skihist Mountain. This was the exact case for Vlad, Holly and myself. We traversed up and over Antimony Mountain to access Skhist Mountain as part of a loop traverse. The approach is all written in Skihist Mountain’s trip report because that was the reason why we came up here.
